SINOPSIS

Dulce is a reclusive artist who suffers from agoraphobia, a condition stemming from a traumatic childhood event. One day, her life is disrupted when she discovers that one of her paintings has magically come to life. The creation, a childlike man she names Webster, is initially a blank slate, and Dulce enjoys teaching him and having companionship without needing to confront the outside world.

Webster later convinces Dulce to bring another one of her paintings to life: a woman she calls Mimi. Mimi, however, is much more independent and manipulative than Webster. The new dynamic changes the power balance among the three, as Mimi grows restless with Dulce's self-imposed confinement and wants to experience the freedom of the outside world. Mimi's cunning nature and desire for liberty cause Dulce's small, controlled world to unravel, bringing her to a thought-provoking and shocking conclusion.

Bird (2024) IndoSUB

SINOPSIS

Twelve-year-old Bailey, her father, Bug, and half-brother, Hunter, reside in a dilapidated building. One day, Bug tells Kayley, whom he has known for three months, that he is engaged to her and that they will get married the following Saturday. Shocked and irate, Bailey declares she will not be there and leaves.

Afterwards, Hunter tells Bailey that he and his companions belong to a vigilante organization. Curious, Bailey follows the boys as they storm into a house and threaten a man with a box cutter. Bailey flees into an empty field and spends the night there after the police are promptly called.

A mysterious man who goes by the name Bird greets her the following morning. She follows him to an apartment building where he looks for a woman who used to live there but is unable to locate her. After this, Bailey departs, but before Bug comes to take her home and grounds her for spending the entire night out, she spots Bird on the building's roof.

Bailey finds out that Bird was trying to find his mother, who lived in the apartment building and vanished when he was a young boy. Being kind to Bird, Bailey says her mother, Peyton, might be able to assist Bird because she used to reside in the complex.

While at Peyton's house, Bailey and Bird ask about the residents, but are cut off by her live-in boyfriend Skate's rudeness. Following a fight, Bailey records Skate, who then threatens to kill Peyton if Bailey shows the police the video. Peyton can nevertheless recall Bird's father's name. Hunter promises Bailey that he and his team will attack Skate to save her mother and her half-siblings, and Bailey forwards the video to Hunter.

Afterwards, Hunter asks Bailey to help him deliver a note to his girlfriend Moon, requesting that they flee to Scotland because her family disapproves of her newly found pregnancy. A crow assists Bailey in getting the note past Moon's family while she is traveling.

In order to prevent the incident, Bailey takes her half-siblings out for the day the following day while Hunter and his friends plot their attack. Bird comes back to assist Bailey and the children in getting to the beach, where he tries to find his father. Bird and Bailey discover his apartment, but the man there denies ever having a son. The man later retracts his denial and tells Bird that he was with Bird's mother and that they did have a boy, but that he left her soon after because he could not handle her unstable mental health. As the group makes their way home, Bailey comforts a teary Bird.

Not long after they get back, Skate tries to storm into their home. In the end, he attacks her after Peyton fails to stop him. Skate knocks Bailey out when she tries to stop him. Bird returns to the apartment and tries to protect Peyton as well, but Skate hits him with his head. Bailey sees Bird change into a creature with feathers, big wings, and eyes like birds while he is recuperating. When he battles Skate once more, he takes him outside, where Bird knocks him out, snatches his talons, and takes off with his body.

Bailey learns that Hunter has left the house the following morning. Devastated that Moon had not carried out his plans, she tells Bug, and the two rush to the train station, where they find him by himself. Hunter is reassured by Bug that he is too young to have children. After riding home, the three of them go to Bug and Kailey's wedding, where Bailey is feeling happier. Bird arrives unexpectedly at the reception and bids Bailey farewell with a hug. Bailey's eyes are shown to be bird-like as he departs, just like Bird's eyes were.

Sonic the Hedgehog 3 (2024) IndoSUB BLURAY

Sonic the Hedgehog 3 (2024) IndoSUB

SINOPSIS

In 1974, a meteorite containing the alien hedgehog Shadow (Keanu Reeves) crash-lands in Oklahoma and is seized by the U.S. military. Shadow's power is experimented on by Professor Gerald Robotnik (Jim Carrey) at a Guardian Units of Nations (G.U.N.) research facility under the supervision of Captain Walters (Tom Butler) the former vice chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and the leader of G.U.N.

Shadow also develops a close friendship with Maria (Alyla Browne), Gerald's granddaughter. One night, as Gerald, Maria, and Shadow try to escape the facility to prevent Shadow from being taken away, Maria is accidentally killed in an explosion. The explosion was caused by Gerald's experiments with Shadow's energy signatures. Walters shuts down the facility, imprisons Gerald, and places Shadow in suspended animation. Shadow was deemed too dangerous to be walking free and too valuable to destroy.

Fifty years later, in 2024, an unknown individual hacks into a G.U.N. prison facility's system off the coast of Japan and releases a vengeful Shadow. Kyle Lancebottom (Jorma Taccone) is a G.U.N. agent on Prison Island who watches over Shadow. Shadow hears the sounds of a guitar being played similar to what he heard during his time with Maria. Shadow comes out of his coma. Shadow has the power to "Teleport" from one location to another and easily defeats the security systems of G.U.N. designed to keep him imprisoned.

Shadow escapes the Island and enters the city of Tokyo, where he realizes that it is 2024 and that he has been held captive for 50 years. A huge contingent of the army arrives to take control of Shadow.

In Green Hills, Montana, Sonic (Ben Schwartz) celebrates the anniversary of his arrival on Earth with Tails (Colleen O'Shaughnessey) an intelligent anthropomorphic yellow fox who can fly with his twin-tails and creates gadgets that can alter appearances and disable security, Knuckles (Idris Elba) a hot-headed and arrogant anthropomorphic red Echidna warrior with super strength and the Flames of Disaster, a technique which allows his fists to burst into flames, and their adoptive parents Tom (James Marsden) and Maddie Wachowski (Tika Sumpter).

G.U.N. Director Rockwell (Krysten Ritter) arrives and recruits Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles (dubbed "Team Sonic") to help apprehend Shadow in Tokyo. However, he overpowers the three and escapes. Sonic is astonished to find that Shadow looks just like him. Sonic pursues Shadow, and the 2 hedgehogs come to a face-to-face collision creating an energy pulse of 1.21 Gigawatts. Sonic is defeated in the encounter and Shadow gets away.

Team Sonic meets with the now-Commander Walters, who informs them about Shadow's past. Walters says that while Sonic found friends and family on Earth, Shadow only found pain and loss.

Suddenly, Dr. Ivo Robotnik's (Jim Carrey) drones attack and fatally wound Walters, who gives Sonic a key-card before he dies. Walters says that the card controls the most powerful weapon ever built. When Rockwell arrives, she searches Walter for the key card, making Sonic suspicious. They decide to search for Shadow without G.U.N.'s help as Rockwell turns against them. Team Sonic encounters Ivo's assistant, Agent Stone (Lee Majdoub), who denies involvement in the attack and says that he was the one who saved Team Sonic from the drones. Stone tells Ivo that an impostor is using his drone technology. Ivo has grown a pot belly, lives in a filthy large drone crab, and has given up on basic hygiene. They form an uneasy alliance with Ivo and track the stolen drones to the abandoned G.U.N. facility.

Shadow was already at the facility and had met with Gerald. Shadow admits that he is still pained by Maria's death and Gerald says that this is why they have to team up to punish the humans.

Ivo encounters Gerald, his estranged grandfather and the mastermind behind Shadow's escape and the stolen drones, as Shadow captures the others. Gerald says that he was locked up in a top-secret prison facility for 50 years and hence could never contact Ivo.

Gerald explains that the key-card is one of two needed to activate the Eclipse Cannon, an orbiting laser space weapon he designed for G.U.N. (in exchange for his freedom), capable of targeting and destroying any location on Earth. He claims that he plans to use it to destroy G.U.N.'s headquarters in London to avenge Maria's death, and Ivo agrees to join him. Shadow takes the key-card from Tails and activates a miniature black hole to destroy the base as he, the Robotniks, and Stone leave. The 2nd key-card is inside G.U.N. HQ.

Team Sonic escapes using a ring portal and recruits Tom and Maddie to steal the second key-card from G.U.N.'s headquarters, contending with the Robotniks and Rockwell. G.U.N. HQ is protected by an energy shield and other traps, which Sonic cannot penetrate. Even a ring cannot penetrate the G.U.N. HQ as all schematics of the building have been erased specifically to stop penetration with the use of rings. So, Tails needs Tom and Maddie to install a USB drive in their IT servers to give him full control.

The Robotniks and Tom and Maddie enter the G.U.N. HQ at the same time. Tom installs the USB drive, but notices that the Robotniks had already installed their drive in the servers. Both the team reach the key-card room, along with Director Rockwell. Rockwell takes the key-card as Sonic is tied up in saving his team, while Ivo and Gerald are captured in a gravity well.

Tom successfully obtains the key-card by disguising himself as Walters ad ordering Rockwell to release the Keycard to him. Shadow takes Tom to be the real Walters, gravely wounds him, and takes the key, allowing the Robotniks to launch the Eclipse Cannon. Shadow realizes that the person he wounded was not Walters, but Tom and it triggered memories of a dying Maria in his mind. The Eclipse Cannon was buried underneath the Thames river, but Gerald activates the weapon and launches it into space.

Stone tries to warn Ivo that Gerald has not been completely honest with them, based on something that Shadow said. But Ivo ignores Stone and fires him instead.

The Master Emerald is a powerful ancient artifact, distinct from the Chaos Emeralds. It is a source of immense power, capable of performing feats like neutralizing chaos energy, Teleporting, and generating power.

Sonic abandons Tails and Knuckles, steals the Master Emerald from Angel Island, and becomes super-powered using the seven Chaos Emeralds contained within. Sonic confronts Shadow, who also absorbs the Chaos Emeralds' energy to become super-powered. Sonic eventually overpowers Shadow but relents upon realizing he was being consumed by revenge. Sonic tells Shadow about the loss of his guardian Longclaw and that their love for the people they have lost is more important than revenge. Having a change of heart, Shadow agrees to help stop the cannon.

Aboard the Eclipse Cannon, Gerald intends to destroy Earth to avenge Maria's death. A horrified Ivo attempts to abort the firing sequence, preferring to rule over humanity rather than destroy it, but Gerald destroys the command console. Gerald and Robotnik fight, until the latter is seemingly thrown to his death. However, Tails and Knuckles arrive and save Robotnik, and the trio knock Gerald into the energy beam powering the Eclipse Cannon, which evaporates him instantaneously.

Sonic and Shadow block the cannon's beam as Ivo, Tails, and Knuckles steer it away from Earth, accidentally slicing off part of the Moon. Sonic loses his super-powered form and consciousness while blocking the cannon's beam with Shadow and falls back to Earth. Tails and Knuckles save Sonic using a ring portal to Green Hills. When the cannon's core begins to melt down, Ivo makes a final announcement acknowledging Stone as his only friend before he and Shadow sacrifice themselves to move it away from Earth before it explodes. Sonic reconciles with Tails and Knuckles while Tom recovers from his injuries.

During a race with Tails and Knuckles, Sonic accidentally ends up in New York and is ambushed by an army of Metal Sonic robots but is saved by Amy Rose. Elsewhere, Shadow has survived the cannon's destruction.

Kong: Skull Island (2017) BluRay

After the Vietnam war, a team of scientists explores an uncharted island in the Pacific, venturing into the domain of the mighty Kong, and must fight to escape a primal Eden.

Kong: Skull Island is a 2017 American monster film directed by Jordan Vogt-Roberts. It is a reboot of the King Kong franchise and serves as the second film in Legendary's MonsterVerse, as well as the 11th film in the King Kong franchise. The film stars Tom Hiddleston, Samuel L. Jackson, John Goodman, Brie Larson, Jing Tian, Toby Kebbell, John Ortiz, Corey Hawkins, Jason Mitchell, Shea Whigham, Thomas Mann, Terry Notary, and John C. Reilly. In the film, set in 1973, a team of scientists and Vietnam War soldiers travel to the uncharted Skull Island and meet Kong, a gigantic ape who is the last of his species, closely followed by other terrifying creatures.

SYNOPSIS KONG: SKULL ISLAND

In 1944, two World War II fighter pilots, American pilot Hank Marlow and Japanese pilot Gunpei Ikari, parachute onto an island in the South Pacific after a dogfight and engage in close combat until the fight is interrupted by a giant ape.

In 1973, Bill Randa, head of the U.S. government organization Monarch, plans a search for primeval creatures on the recently discovered Skull Island. He recruits a U.S. Army unit commanded by Lieutenant Colonel Preston Packard, tracker and former British Special Air Service Captain James Conrad, and anti-war photographer Mason Weaver. Arriving at Skull Island, Packard's men begin dropping seismic explosives, developed by Randa's seismologist Houston Brooks, to map out the island and prove Brooks' Hollow Earth theory. The unit is then attacked by the giant ape, scattering the survivors across the island. Two groups form between the survivors, one with Conrad, Weaver, Nieves, the researchers, and one of the soldiers, the other with Randa and the rest. Packard searches for the transport helicopter piloted by Major Jack Chapman, intending to use the weapons on board to kill the ape.

Conrad's group encounters the local Iwi natives and an older Marlow. Marlow tells the group the giant ape, named Kong, protects the island from predators, including a race of subterranean reptilian creatures he dubs "Skullcrawlers" responsible for killing Kong's entire species, leaving him the last of his kind. The Iwi believe when Kong dies, a giant Skullcrawler will awaken and ravage the island. Marlow reveals he and Ikari had become friends during their time on the island, but Ikari was killed by a Skullcrawler some time ago. As Chapman is ambushed and devoured by a Skullcrawler, Conrad's group helps Marlow finish a boat made from parts of Marlow's and Ikari's downed planes. They ride down the river, where Nieves is torn apart by carnivorous birds, and secure communication with Packard's group. When they regroup with Packard, he insists on searching for Chapman.

Marlow leads them through a mass grave of dinosaurs and Kong's family members. The Skullcrawler that killed Chapman attacks them, killing Randa and others before Weaver triggers a flammable gas explosion that kills it. Learning of Chapman's death, Packard reveals his plan to kill Kong and avenge his fallen men. Marlow and Brooks attempt to explain that killing Kong would lead to the Skullcrawlers running rampant, but Packard refuses to listen. The groups part ways, with Packard's group retrieving the weapons from Chapman's chopper and laying a trap for Kong at a nearby lake, while the non-military personnel head back to the boat. Conrad and Weaver meet Kong up-close and, seeing his true peaceful nature, resolve to save him. Packard's group lures Kong with the remaining seismic charges and incapacitates him with ignited napalm. Conrad, Weaver, and Marlow arrive and, after a standoff, persuade the other soldiers to spare Kong, but Packard refuses to yield. As the others retreat, the giant Skullcrawler emerges from the lake, and Kong crushes Packard. The Skullcrawler fights and overpowers Kong, but in the end, the ape is victorious with the humans' help. The survivors reach the rendezvous point and leave the island as Kong stoically watches.

In a pre-end credits scene, Marlow reunites with his wife and meets his son for the first time. In a post-credits scene, Monarch detains and recruits Conrad and Weaver. San Lin and Brooks inform them that Kong is not the only monster king and show archive footage of cave paintings depicting Godzilla, Mothra, Rodan, and King Ghidorah. The final image shows Godzilla and Ghidorah in battle.

Branded (2012) BluRay

In future Moscow, where corporate brands have created a disillusioned population, one man's effort to unlock the truth behind the conspiracy will lead to an epic battle with hidden forces that control the world.

The film starts with documentary-style flashbacks showing Misha's rise to a powerful marketing executive. Now in Moscow 2017, Misha is a powerful marketing executive working to spread Western brands, and like the businesses he works for nothing will stop him in his greed, until the imprisonment and death of an overweight girl undergoing extensive plastic surgery to become skinny. Following a vision in which Misha sacrifices a heifer to God, he begins to receive strange visions depicting the brands control over people. He returns to work and guided by these visions, Misha attempts to stop the growth of the brands in post-Communist Russia by encouraging the brand to attack each other in their advertising campaigns. There is some debate whether Misha believes that the worship of global brands is Idolatry and his visions depicting the brands are controlling people causing them to sin, or whether his belief is that monopoly is evil and his intention is to create a Western style free-market economy.

SYNOPSIS BRANDED

In early 1980s Soviet Union, young Misha Galkin looks up at the night sky and sees the stars shift into a cow-shaped constellation which turns to look at him. Moments later, he is struck by lightning. A woman who examines him after comments that he will have an interesting life. Over the following years, Misha uses his natural skills to become an important marketing executive, receiving his big break when he meets Bob Gibbons, an American hired to spread Western brands in post-Communist Russia. When Bob's niece, Abby, visits from America, she and Misha begin a relationship against Bob's wishes. They discuss the history of modern marketing, which Misha claims was invented by Vladimir Lenin, and Communism as the first true global brand.

Meanwhile, on a private Polynesian island, marketing guru Joseph Pascal meets with fast food company executives to discuss a plan to make the industry profitable again. They plan to change public perceptions of beauty and "make fat the new fabulous."

Misha is hired to promote a new reality TV show, "Extreme Cosmetica", in which an overweight woman will undergo plastic surgery to become thin. After the first operation, the woman falls into a coma and the public turns against the show, as well as the glorification of thin body types. Misha becomes the scapegoat for the failed project and is swarmed by protesters before being beaten by police and arrested. Upon his release from jail, he confronts Bob; Misha has realized that the show and the woman's coma were orchestrated by fast food companies, such as "The Burger". Bob denies the accusations, claiming that such a plan would require too many resources. Misha and Bob fight and Bob has a heart attack. Feeling guilty for his role in the fate of the "Extreme Cosmetic" contestant, Misha leaves Moscow and withdraws from modern society; he believes his marketing powers are a curse.

Over the next six years, the "fat is fabulous" campaign is successful; most people are overweight and advertising images now focus on this change in perception of the ideal body type. Misha dreams that he performs the Red Heifer ritual, sacrificing a red cow and bathing in its ashes. When he wakes, he discovers that he can see strange creatures that appear to be the embodiment of marketing brand desires. They cling to people's necks and no one except for Misha can see them.

Abby tracks Misha to a rural community where he lives as a simple cowherd. She takes Misha to her Moscow apartment where she reveals that Bob left her a substantial inheritance and that she and Misha have a six-year-old son, who is overweight and loves many junk food brands. Misha—distressed by his visions and disgusted with the rampant commercialism around him—impulsively destroys Abby's apartment. Abby is frightened by this behavior and leaves, taking their son with her.

Misha plans to fight the branding creatures by using their own methods. He returns to his old company and uses fear based marketing to make customers turn on the world's major brands, beginning with an anti-beef scare that turns people away from "The Burger" and towards a vegetarian Chinese restaurant chain, "Dim Song". Branding creatures fight and destroy each other throughout the city. Public opinion turns against marketing in general and the Russian parliament considers banning all advertising.

Alone in his office, Misha leaves a phone message for Abby, asking for her forgiveness. Abby arrives at his office but the building is suddenly raided by anti-advertising protesters who assault the employees in the building. Misha is struck in the head as he attempts to escape with Abby. An emergency broadcast on television states that Russia and other nations have agreed to ban advertising as Misha lays on the floor, bleeding.

Some time later, Misha wakes in the hospital and plays with Abby and their son. In the same hospital, the "Extreme Cosmetica" woman awakens from her coma and wanders into the streets to see an advertisement-free Moscow and a skyline free of billboards.

Mike Hanlon, the only member of the Losers Club who remained in Derry, calls the other members, Bill Denbrough, Ben Hanscom, Beverly Marsh, Richie Tozier, Eddie Kaspbrak, and Stanley Uris to honor the promise they made 27 years earlier to kill It if it came back. All of them travel back with hazy memories except for Stanley, who kills himself out of his fear of the creature. At a restaurant, Mike refreshes the Losers' memories before It itself reveals the news of Stanley's suicide to them. Richie and Eddie decide to leave until Beverly reveals that she has had psychic visions of their deaths if they fail to kill It. Meanwhile, It kills a young girl named Victoria at a baseball game after luring her into a trap. At the Derry Library, Mike shows Bill, via a drug-induced vision, that the Native American "Ritual of Chüd" can stop It for good.

Mike explains that the ritual requires items from their past to be sacrificed. The members' searches for these past items involve traumatizing encounters with It, mostly in the form of Pennywise; Pennywise confronting Richie and telling him that he knows about his true sexuality, Beverly being attacked in her childhood home, Eddie being attacked by The Leper in a medicine shop's basement. Henry Bowers, who was arrested for killing his father, is freed from a mental hospital by It. Bowers also searches for the Losers and viciously attacks Eddie at the Losers' hotel, and then Mike at the library; Henry nearly kills Mike, but Richie kills him before he has the chance. The Losers rejoin Bill—who just failed to save a young boy named Dean from being eaten by It—at the Neibolt House, talking him out of facing It alone.

After three individual encounters with It, the group descend into a cavern beneath the sewers, where they perform the ritual. The ritual traps the Deadlights, It's true form, in a sealing jar, but a giant red balloon emerges from the jar, and explodes, revealing It as a spider with Pennywise's face. Pennywise pressures Mike into revealing that It killed the Natives originally performing the ritual because their fears overtook them, a fact Mike had hidden. It attacks the Losers and places Bill, Ben, and Beverly in individual traps, which they escape once Bill releases his guilt over It killing his younger brother Georgie, and when Beverly realizes Ben was the one who wrote a love letter to her when they originally encountered It, 27 years ago. Mike stands up to the creature, only to almost get eaten, but Richie manages to distract It, getting caught in It's Deadlights in the process. Eddie saves him, but is fatally impaled in the chest. Eddie explains how he made It feel small earlier, giving them an idea. The Losers mock It, insulting and calling It various names which causes It to literally shrink in size. Mike rips out It's heart, which he and the Losers crush with their bare hands, finally killing It. The Losers are forced to leave Eddie, who died from his injuries, while It's cavern implodes, destroying the Neibolt House.

The remaining Losers return to their old swimming area and wash off from their confrontation with It, and join hands to comfort Richie as he mourns for Eddie. It's demise has also caused the scars on their hands to disappear. After the Losers part ways, Ben and Beverly get married, Richie returns to the kissing bridge where he had once carved his and Eddie's initials, Mike decides to move out of Derry and start a new life, and Bill begins writing his new story before receiving a call from Mike as he leaves Derry, learning that Stanley sent them all posthumous letters. The letters reveal that Stanley was too scared to face It, and that his suicide was intended to strengthen his friends against It. He asks the remaining Losers to "live life to the fullest potential."

Sucker Punch (2011) BluRay

A young girl institutionalized by her abusive stepfather retreats to an alternative reality as a coping strategy and envisions a plan to help her escape.

Sucker Punch is a 2011 American psychological fantasy action film directed by Zack Snyder and co-written by Snyder and Steve Shibuya. It is Snyder's first film based on an original concept.[5][6] The film stars Emily Browning as "Babydoll", a young woman who is committed to a mental institution. As she collects items she needs to escape, she enters a series of fantasy worlds where she and her fellow inmates are strong, experienced warriors. Abbie Cornish, Jena Malone, Vanessa Hudgens, Jamie Chung, Carla Gugino, and Oscar Isaac also star.

SYNOPSIS SUCKER PUNCH

In the 1960s, a young woman nicknamed Babydoll is framed for killing her younger sister, who was actually murdered by their abusive stepfather in an effort to collect the inheritance their mother had left to the two girls. She is framed as mentally unstable by her stepfather and institutionalized at the fictional Lennox House for the Mentally Insane in Brattleboro, Vermont. He bribes asylum orderly Blue Jones to forge the signature of the asylum's psychiatrist, Vera Gorski, to have Babydoll lobotomized so she cannot inform authorities of the truth. During her admission to the institution, Babydoll takes note of four items that she would need to attempt an escape.

Babydoll slips into a fantasy world in which she has newly arrived in a brothel owned by Blue, whom she envisions as a mobster, where she and the other patients are sex slaves. In this realm, she befriends four other patients/dancers: Amber, Blondie, Rocket, and Rocket's sister and "star of the show", Sweet Pea. Dr. Gorski is envisioned as the girls' dance instructor. Blue informs Babydoll that her virginity will be sold to a client known as the High Roller, who is actually the doctor scheduled to perform her lobotomy. Gorski encourages Babydoll to perform an erotic dance, during which Babydoll further fantasizes she is in feudal Japan, meeting the Wise Man. After she expresses her desire to "escape", the Wise Man presents Babydoll with weapons and tells her that she needs five items: a map, fire, a knife, a key, and a fifth unrevealed item that only she can find, which would require "a deep sacrifice" and bring a "perfect victory". She then fights three samurai giants. As her fantasy ends, she finds herself back in the brothel; her dance has impressed Blue and other onlookers.

Babydoll eventually convinces the four girls to join her in preparing an escape. She plans to use her dances as a distraction while the other girls obtain the necessary tools. During her dances, she imagines fantastic adventures that mirror the escape efforts. These adventures include infiltrating a bunker protected by steampunk-inspired World War I German soldiers to gain a map (mirrored by Sweet Pea copying a map of the brothel/institution from Blue's office), storming an Orc-infested castle to retrieve two fire-producing crystals from inside a baby dragon (mirrored by Amber stealing a lighter from the mayor's pocket), and boarding a train and fighting robotic guards to disarm a bomb (mirrored by Sweet Pea stealing a kitchen knife from the Cook's belt). During the last fantasy, Rocket sacrifices herself to guarantee Sweet Pea's escape from the bomb's blast, paralleled by the Cook fatally stabbing Rocket as she tries to protect her sister.

Blue overhears Blondie relaying Babydoll's plan to Gorski, confirming his suspicions that something is amiss. He locks Sweet Pea in a utility closet and confronts the other girls backstage. He fatally shoots Amber and Blondie, and attempts to rape Babydoll, but she stabs him with the kitchen knife and steals his master key. Babydoll frees Sweet Pea and starts a fire to keep the orderlies occupied while they seek an exit. They escape into the courtyard, where a throng of men blocks their way. Babydoll deduces that the fifth item she needs is actually her own sacrifice, and that this is actually Sweet Pea's story. Despite Sweet Pea's protests, Babydoll insists on walking right up to the visitors, thus distracting them long enough to allow her friend to slip away unnoticed.

Back in the asylum, the surgeon has just performed Babydoll's lobotomy. Gorski notes that during her short stay, the girl stabbed an orderly, started a fire, and helped another girl escape the asylum. The surgeon is baffled by Babydoll's expression, and asks Gorski why she authorized the procedure, and many identical ones before. Gorski realizes that Blue has been forging her signature and summons the police, who apprehend Blue as he attempts to sexually assault a lobotomized Babydoll. While being led away, Blue also incriminates the stepfather. Babydoll is shown smiling serenely.

At a bus station, Sweet Pea, having stolen a dress to better blend in, gets stopped by police as she tries to board a bus to Fort Wayne, but the bus driver (the Wise Man) rescues her by misleading the police and letting her board. She thanks him and he says they have "a long way to go" as the bus leaves.

During the end credits, Dr. Gorski and Blue sing "Love Is the Drug" as a duet in a glitzy musical sequence that includes dancing from all five female leads.

Power Rangers (2017) BluRay

A group of high-school students, who are infused with unique superpowers, harness their abilities in order to save the world.

Power Rangers (also marketed as Saban's Power Rangers)[5] is a 2017 American superhero film based on the franchise of the same name, directed by Dean Israelite and written by John Gatins. It is the third installment in the Power Rangers film series, and is a reboot that loosely adapts the show’s pilot episode. The film features the main characters of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers television series with a new cast, starring Dacre Montgomery, Naomi Scott, RJ Cyler, Becky G, Ludi Lin, David Denman, featuring Bill Hader, with Bryan Cranston, and Elizabeth Banks.

SYNOPSIS POWER RANGERS

In the Cenozoic era, a superhuman force of warriors known as the Power Rangers are tasked with protecting life on Earth and the Zeo Crystal. The Green Ranger, Rita Repulsa, betrays them and plans to dominate the universe. The Red Ranger, Zordon, survives Rita's attack and hides five of the Power Coins. He orders Alpha 5, his robotic assistant, to perform a meteor strike that kills him, the dinosaurs, and sends Rita to the bottom of the sea, foiling her scheme.

In 21st-century Angel Grove, high school football star Jason Scott is dismissed from the team and placed under house arrest after a failed prank. In detention, he encounters class nerd Billy Cranston and former cheerleader Kimberly Hart. Billy offers to deactivate Jason's ankle monitor if he will drive him to an old gold mine that evening. Once there, Jason leaves to explore and runs into Kimberly swimming in a lake. Billy detonates explosives to break some rock, attracting the attention of Jason, Kimberly and nearby students Trini Kwan and Zack Taylor. The five discover the Power Coins and each take one. While escaping mine security, their car is hit by a train. The five find themselves at home the next morning and discover that the coins have granted them superhuman abilities. Elsewhere, Rita's body is found. Waking, she goes on a rampage, hunting pieces of gold to raise her minion Goldar to find the Zeo Crystal.

The five teenagers return to the mine and discover an ancient spaceship where they meet Alpha 5 and Zordon's consciousness. They inform the teenagers about the Rangers' history and Rita, warning that they have two weeks until Rita has her full power, finds the Zeo Crystal, and uses it to destroy life on Earth. Zordon pleads with Jason to convince the team to help.

The five spend the next week training against simulated Putties and trying unsuccessfully to morph. To inspire the Rangers, Alpha reveals the Zords. Zack takes his Zord out for a joyride and almost kills the other Rangers when he crashes it. This angers Jason, and they fight. While trying to separate the two, Billy spontaneously morphs. However, when he becomes conscious of it, the armor disappears. Angered at their lack of progress, Zordon dismisses the group. Jason returns to the ship to confront Zordon and discovers that once the Rangers morph, it will open the Morphing Grid and allow Zordon to restore himself in a physical body. Feeling betrayed, Jason accuses Zordon of bringing the team together for the sole purpose of escaping the Grid. That night, the team camp at the mine and bond with each other.

Later that night, Rita attacks Trini and orders her to bring the Rangers to the docks. Trini informs them about Rita and they arrive to fight, but are quickly knocked down. Rita forces Billy to reveal the location of the Zeo Crystal, which he'd figured out to be under a Krispy Kreme, kills him, and releases the others. The Rangers take Billy's body to the ship and ask Zordon to resurrect him. The Rangers agree they would give their lives for each other and resolve to defeat Rita. In doing so, they unlock the Morphing Grid. Zordon revives Billy, sacrificing being able to restore his physical self. With the team restored and confident, the Rangers morph into their armor.

Rita creates Goldar, raises an army of Putties, and attacks Angel Grove to find the Zeo Crystal. The Rangers battle the Putties and head to Angel Grove in their Zords. After the Rangers destroy the Putties, Goldar pushes the Rangers and their Zords into a fiery pit. In the pit, the Zords combine and form the Megazord. Rita merges with Goldar. The Rangers battle and destroy Goldar. After refusing Jason's offer to surrender, a defiant Rita tells the Rangers that more will come for the crystal and leaps at the Megazord only to be slapped into space. The Rangers are praised as local heroes, and with Rita's threats foiled, they return to their normal lives while keeping their powers.

Back at school, the teacher announces that Tommy Oliver will be joining them, but the desk is empty save for a green jacket.

The Cobbler (2014) BluRay

A cobbler, bored of his everyday life, stumbles upon a magical heirloom that allows him to become other people and see the world in a different way.

The Cobbler is a 2014 American magic realism comedy-drama film directed by Tom McCarthy and co-written by McCarthy with Paul Sado. The film stars Adam Sandler, Cliff "Method Man" Smith, Ellen Barkin, Melonie Diaz, Dan Stevens, and Steve Buscemi. It was screened in the Special Presentations section at the 2014 Toronto International Film Festival. The film was released on March 13, 2015, by Image Entertainment. The film was panned by critics and was a box office bomb.

SYNOPSIS THE COBBLER

In the Lower East Side NYC in 1903, a group of Jewish men gather in a cobbler's shop to discuss a neighborhood problem. Gergerman has been threatening their businesses, harassing them and their families. Handing a pair of Gergerman's shoes to the cobbler, Pinchas Simkin, he takes them to the shop basement and uses a special stitching machine on the shoes. His young son Herschel enters, and he explains how important the machine is.

In the present day, the great-grandson of Pinchas, Max Simkin is the cobbler. Jimmy operates the barber shop next door. Carmen Herrera, a young woman of the Lower East Side is fighting against large developers who are tearing down parts of the neighborhood to build huge complexes. Max doesn't seem to care at all about the shop. He lives at home with his ailing mother Sarah and wishes they could see Max's father again.

Local thug Leon Ludlow brings his shoes to the shop to resole them. Max's current stitching machine fails, so he uses the old one. He checks Ludlow's shoe size; it's 10 1/2, the same as his. Max tries the shoes on and transforms into Ludlow. He uses the machine on other shoes, and realizes what he can do with it.

Max experiments living as someone else, going to Chinatown as a Chinese man, going to a restaurant as one and leaving as another, not paying. Taryn brings in her British boyfriend Emiliano's shoes, and Max uses them. As Emiliano, he goes to a bar, noticed by beautiful women. One approaches him, noting that she once saw him leaving with a man. Going to his home as Emiliano, he finds Taryn taking a shower and she invites him to join her. He eagerly starts to undress, then realizes if he takes off a shoe, he will no longer be Emiliano, so he leaves. Max decides to make his mother happy by using the shoes of his father Abraham. Having dinner with Sarah as Abraham gives her one more night of happiness.

The next morning Sarah has died, so he and his family sit shiva for the week. When he returns to work, Ludlow demands his shoes back or he'll kill Max. Using several pairs of shoes to disguise himself, Max follows Ludlow to his apartment. Using Ludlow's shoes, he meets his girlfriend Macy, who has apparently been abused by Ludlow. Max searches for his valuable watches, which he takes; he also finds a cache of weapons. The real Ludlow returns and starts to strangle Max (still in Ludlow's shoes) until Max tasers him. Ludlow-Max goes with two associates of Ludlow where a man is held captive for stealing. About to kill him on Ludlow's orders, Ludlow-Max tells them to free him. Then they go meet slum lord Elaine Greenawalt, who gives him lots of money to buy out a man from his building.

Max goes back to Ludlow's wearing the transsexual's stilettos. Ludlow attacks, but stops when Max removes a shoe and reverts to himself. Resuming the attack, Max kills Ludlow with the shoe. Max turns himself in to the police, but when they go to the apartment, all the evidence is gone. He is left, alone and confused. Jimmy confronts Max about his recent odd behavior, telling Max the secret, that his father did the same thing before he disappeared.

Max goes with Carmen to Mr. Solomon's, the man Greenawalt wants to buy out. He refuses to leave, as he has lived there for decades and raised his daughter there. Max devises a plan to trick Greenawalt into giving him a large amount of money while still letting Solomon keep his home. When she realizes she's been played, she goes to Solomon's and threatens to kill him. She is caught on camera, and later arrested. Max's life starts to go back to normal. Carmen goes into the shop and invites him to dinner. He later goes to Ludlow's as Ludlow, giving the watches to Macy, telling her he's sorry and that she deserves better. As he leaves, he is abducted by a group of men led by the man he had saved. They are about to drive off when their car is struck.

He wakes up in Jimmy's barber shop and is offered some water and a pickle, as pickles help with the transition from one body to another. Max asks how he knew that, Jimmy takes off his shoes revealing that he is actually Abraham, his father. The real Jimmy is in the Caribbean. Both elated and angry, Max hugs his dad, then is shown a huge collection of shoes that he's gathered over the years. Abraham then takes Max in his limo through the city, telling him the story of how the stitching machine came into their family.

Triangle (2009) BluRay

Yacht passengers encounter mysterious weather conditions that force them to jump onto another ship, only to have the odd havoc increase.

Triangle is a 2009 psychological horror film written and directed by Christopher Smith and starring Melissa George and Michael Dorman. The film was released in the United Kingdom on 16 October 2009. George portrays a single mother who goes on a boating trip with several friends. When they are forced to abandon their ship, they board a derelict ocean liner, where they become convinced that someone is stalking them.

SYNOPSIS TRIANGLE

While preparing to take Tommy, her autistic son, on a boat trip with her friend Greg, Jess hears the doorbell ring, but no one is there. She arrives at a harbour in Florida without Tommy, explaining that he is at his special needs school, and boards Greg's boat. She meets his married friends Sally and Downey, Sally's friend Heather, and Victor, a runaway teen living with Greg. While out at sea, a storm approaches, and they pick up a distress signal while radioing the coast guard. The storm capsizes the boat, during which Heather is swept out into the water. The others climb onto the overturned boat when the storm clears.

They board an ocean liner as it passes; it appears to be deserted yet there is fresh food in the dining room. Jess experiences a growing sense of déjà vu as they explore. They find Jess's keys near a display case for Aeolus, the ship's namesake. Jess spots someone watching them and Victor gives chase. She and Greg find "Go To Theater" written in blood on a mirror. She returns to the dining room, where the food is now rotting. Victor, covered in blood, tries to kill Jess; she fights him off. She hears gunfire and follows it to a theater, where Greg lies dead of a gunshot. Sally and Downey say that Greg told them Jess shot him. A burlap-masked shooter kills them and chases Jess; she disarms the shooter, who tells her "You have to kill them; it's the only way to get home" before falling overboard.

She hears yelling and sees herself and the others alive on Greg's boat. After they board, Jess becomes the earlier unseen figure: she drops her keys near the display case, is spotted, and attempts to warn Victor when he chases her, only to accidentally impale his head on a wall hook. She finds dozens of duplicates of the shooter's outfit, shotgun, her own locket, and a note saying to kill them all when they board. She takes a shotgun, intending to "change the pattern", but the shooter, another Jess, kills Greg and Downey before mortally wounding Sally.

The first Jess chases Sally, who sends the distress signal heard on Greg's boat. Jess catches up to her on a deck filled with dozens of Sally corpses, and Sally succumbs to her wound as, below them, the newest Jess kills the shooter Jess. The overturned boat returns again, and Jess realises the loop restarts once everyone is killed. Desperate to stop the loop, Jess sets everything from the first loop into motion, with herself as the shooter. After she is disarmed during the fight on the front deck, she urges her counterpart to kill everyone, and falls overboard.

She awakens washed ashore and discovers that it is the same morning. She returns home and watches from outside her house as her double abuses Tommy out of anger toward his autism. Promising to change, she distracts her counterpart with the doorbell, then kills her, puts the bagged body in the car trunk, and leaves with Tommy. A gull hits their windscreen and dies, but when she picks it up and disposes of it, she sees a pile of dead gulls. Realising that she is still trapped in the loop, Jess hurriedly drives away, but crashes into a truck and Tommy is killed and the earlier double (whom Jess killed) is seen dead at the scene. In the aftermath, the real Jess stands watching the accident scene. A taxi driver approaches and she accepts a ride to the harbour. After promising to return, she joins the others on Greg's boat, starting the loop again.

Noah (2014) BluRay

Noah is chosen by God to undertake a momentous mission before an apocalyptic flood cleanses the world.

Noah is a 2014 American epic biblical drama film directed by Darren Aronofsky who co-wrote the screenplay with Ari Handel. Inspired by the biblical story of Noah's Ark from the Book of Genesis, the film stars Russell Crowe as Noah, along with Jennifer Connelly, Emma Watson, Ray Winstone, Logan Lerman, and Anthony Hopkins. The film was released in North American theaters on March 28, 2014, in 2D and IMAX, while a version converted to 3D and IMAX 3D was released in several other countries.

SYNOPSIS NOAH

As a boy, Noah sees his father, Lamech, killed by a young King Tubal-cain. Years later, an adult Noah lives with his wife, Naameh, and their sons Shem, Ham, and Japheth. After seeing a flower grow instantly from the ground and dreaming of a great flood, Noah visits his grandfather, Methuselah.

They encounter a group of people recently killed and adopt the lone survivor, a girl named Ila. Ila is treated for an abdominal wound, but Naameh determines that she will be unable to have children. Noah and his family are chased by the murderers and seek refuge with the fallen angels known as the Watchers. The Watchers are confined on Earth as creatures of stone for helping humans banished from the Garden of Eden.

Methuselah gives Noah a seed from Eden and tells Noah that he was chosen for a reason. Returning to his tent that night, Noah plants the seed in the ground. The Watchers arrive the next morning and debate whether they should help Noah until they see water spout from the spot where Noah planted the seed. After a forest grows instantly, the Watchers agree to help Noah and his family build an ark.

After birds fly to the ark, Tubal-cain arrives with his followers and confronts Noah. Noah defies Tubal-cain and remarks that there is no escape for the line of Cain. When the Watchers form a defensive circle, Tubal-cain retreats, deciding to build weapons to take the ark. As the ark nears completion, various species of animals enter the ark and are sedated with incense.

With Ila in love with Shem, Noah goes to a nearby settlement to find wives for Ham and Japheth, but after witnessing the settlers' cruel and shameless behavior, he abandons his effort and begins believing that the Creator wants all of humanity dead. He tells his family that he will not seek wives for his younger sons. After the flood, they will be the last humans, and there will be no new human generations.

Devastated that he will be alone his entire life, Ham runs into the forest. Naameh begs Noah to reconsider but, when he will not, she goes to Methuselah for help. Ila encounters Methuselah, who cures her infertility. Ham, searching for a wife on his own, befriends a refugee, Na'el.

When the rain begins, Tubal-cain incites his followers to storm the ark. Noah finds Ham in the forest, but leaves Na'el to die when she is caught in an animal trap. Noah's family enter the ark, except for Methuselah, who remains in the forest and is swept away by the rushing waters. The Watchers hold off Tubal-cain and his followers, sacrificing themselves and ascending back to heaven. Tubal-cain slips onto the ark and solicits help from Ham, playing on anger toward Noah for allowing Na'el to die.

Ila discovers she is pregnant as the rains stop and begs the Creator to let the child live. Noah interprets the ending of the rain to mean he must ensure the extinction of humans and resolves that, if the child is a girl, he will kill her. Nine months later, Ila and Shem build a raft to escape Noah, but Noah burns it. Ila gives birth to twin girls.

After Ham calls Noah telling him the beasts are awake and eating each other, Tubal-cain attacks Noah. Shem promises Ila that Noah will not harm their daughters and goes to stop him. The ark hits ground, and Tubal-cain gets the better of Noah, but Ham kills Tubal-cain with a dagger. Noah finds Ila and the babies, intending to kill the children, but spares them upon looking at his granddaughters and, as he later tells Ila, finding nothing but love in his heart.

Upon exiting the ark, a shameful Noah, thinking that he has let God down by not killing the babies, goes into isolation in a nearby cave, making wine in which to drown his sorrows. After witnessing his father's unseemly and naked drunkenness, Ham leaves his kin to live alone. Having reconciled at the behest of Ila, Noah blesses the family as the beginning of a new human race, and they witness waves of immense rainbows.
