X-Men: Days Of Future Past (2014) BluRay



The X-Men send Wolverine to the past in a desperate effort to change history and prevent an event that results in doom for both humans and mutants.


SYNOPSIS X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST

In a dystopian future, Sentinels have been programmed to identify and hunt down mutants and any humans who help them. In Moscow, they attack a small band of X-Men survivors consisting of Kitty Pryde, Colossus, Blink, Warpath, Bishop, Iceman and Sunspot, but Kitty sends Bishop's consciousness back in time a few days to warn the others as to ensure their survival.


The group retreats to a remote Chinese temple where they meet with Storm, Wolverine, Professor Charles Xavier, and Magneto. Xavier explains the history of the Sentinels, which were designed by Bolivar Trask, a military scientist whom Raven Darkhölme assassinated in 1973. In response, government forces captured Raven and experimented on her, using her DNA to advance the Sentinel program, allowing Sentinels to adapt to nearly every mutant power. Xavier plans to go back in time and prevent Trask's assassination in hopes of changing their future but since Xavier would not survive going back decades, Wolverine volunteers instead because his regenerative powers allow him to survive the process.


Awakening in his younger body in 1973, Wolverine goes to the X-Mansion, learning from Hank McCoy that the school has been closed for years due to many students and staff being drafted into the Vietnam War, and Lehnsherr being falsely arrested for assassinating fellow mutant John F. Kennedy. A young, broken Xavier turned to alcoholism and frequently uses a specialized serum that allows him to walk but suppresses his telepathic abilities. Hoping to reunite with Mystique, Xavier agrees to help Wolverine. The trio infiltrate The Pentagon and break Lehnsherr out of prison, aided by the newly recruited Peter Maximoff.


Raven discovers Trask has been experimenting on mutants, and in revenge, she plots to assassinate him at the Paris Peace Accords, but Xavier, McCoy, and Logan foil her attempt. Lehnsherr attempts to kill Raven, believing this could prevent the Sentinel takeover. An alarmed McCoy fights him, allowing Raven to escape but publicly exposing the three as mutants. Trask takes advantage of this and successfully convinces President Richard Nixon to initiate the Sentinel program.


Lehnsherr retrieves his helmet from military custody, using it to block Xavier's psychic powers, and secretly takes control of Trask's Sentinel prototypes by infusing them with metal. Returning to the X-Mansion, Xavier abandons the serum, regaining his mutant power, and communicates with his future self, who inspires him to protect the relationship between mutants and humans. After Xavier uses his mutant-tracking computer Cerebro to find Mystique he, along with McCoy and Logan, travel to Washington, D.C. to stop Raven's continuing plan to assassinate Trask.


At a ceremony where Nixon unveils the Sentinels, the three search for the disguised Raven. Magneto appears, controlling the Sentinels, and barricades the White House within the outer structure of Robert F. Kennedy Memorial Stadium. During the battle, Magneto impales Logan with rebar and throws him into the Potomac River. Nixon, Trask, and a disguised Raven retreat to the White House Bunker, but Magneto rips reinforcing steel bars out of the building with the intention of killing Nixon.


In the future, the X-Men make their last stand as an onslaught of Sentinels attack them. Many mutants perish while attempting to buy more time, with Magneto being seriously injured. In 1973, Raven, openly showing herself as a mutant, subdues Magneto, saving Nixon and his cabinet. She goes to kill Trask but Xavier convinces Raven to spare him. As a mutant was publicly seen saving the president, the Sentinel program is decommissioned, altering history and erasing the future Sentinels from existence. The mutants in the past depart separately; Trask is later imprisoned for attempting to sell military secrets to Vietnamese military officials.


Wolverine awakens at the school to find Iceman, Colossus, Kitty, Hank, Storm, Rogue, Jean Grey, Scott Summers and Xavier alive. Logan asks Xavier for information about modern history from 1973 to the present, and, realizing that the Wolverine from the original timeline has returned, the professor assents. Back in 1973, the younger Logan is rescued by Raven, who is disguised as Major William Stryker.

In a post-credits scene set in ancient Egypt, a crowd is seen chanting to En Sabah Nur, who telekinetically elevates building blocks to build pyramids, as four horsemen observe him from afar.

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1 (2014) BluRay



Katniss Everdeen is in District 13 after she shatters the games forever. Under the leadership of President Coin and the advice of her trusted friends, Katniss spreads her wings as she fights to save Peeta and a nation moved by her courage.

With the Games destroyed, Katniss Everdeen, along with Gale, Finnick and Beetee, end up in the so thought "destroyed" District 13. Under the leadership of President Coin and the advice of her friends, Katniss becomes the "Mockingjay", the symbol of rebellion for the districts of Panem.


SYNOPSIS THE HUNGER GAMES: MOCKINGJAY - PART 1

After being rescued from the destroyed arena in the 75th Hunger Games, tributes Katniss Everdeen, Beetee, and Finnick Odair are taken to District 13, a below-ground district isolated from Panem that has been spearheading the rebellion. Katniss is reunited with her mother and sister Prim and is introduced to President Alma Coin, the rebel leader. Katniss is told that her arrow destroying the forcefield led to riots in over half the districts, joining District 13 in the rebellion, which caused Snow to bomb District 12 in retaliation. Coin asks her to become the "Mockingjay"—a symbol of the rebellion—as part of a "hearts and minds" strategy. Katniss reluctantly agrees after seeing Peeta being manipulated on state television to quell the rebellion. She visits the ruins of District 12, her old house somehow untouched with white roses from President Snow inside.


Katniss meets her film team and is given Effie Trinket as a stylist and close friend, Gale, as a bodyguard. They go to District 8 where Katniss is filmed being saluted by dozens of wounded civilians at a hospital; Snow, seeing the footage, orders an airstrike at the hospital, killing everyone inside. The crew films Katniss and Gale shooting down two Capitol hovercraft and Katniss' rage-filled threat: "If we burn, you burn with us." Afterwards, loggers in District 7 revolt, shouting the same phrase and killing Peacekeepers.


Katniss and her team travel to District 12. Katniss is filmed singing "The Hanging Tree." Hundreds of protesters in District 5, singing the same anthem, launch a suicidal human wave attack against a hydroelectric dam that is the Capitol's primary source of electricity. The attack knocks out power, forcing the Capitol to revert to secondary generators. That night, Katniss watches Peeta being interviewed by Caesar Flickerman, the Games' former presenter, when Coin and Beetee hijack the signal to air a clip of Katniss. After seeing it, Peeta suddenly shouts a warning that the Capitol is about to attack District 13. Coin orders a mass evacuation into deep, underground shelters, and the facility survives the attack. Upon emerging, Katniss discovers the area littered with white roses; she concludes that Snow orchestrated this to inform her that whenever she condemns the Capitol, they’ll torture Peeta in retaliation.


Coin dispatches an elite special-forces team to rescue Peeta and remaining victors Johanna Mason, Enobaria, and Annie Cresta from their prison. Beetee hijacks the Capitol's defense system with a "propo" narrated by Finnick to convince more districts to side with the rebellion; when this proves not to be enough, Katniss communicates directly with Snow as a further distraction to buy enough time. Gale's team rescues the victors and escapes the Capitol easily, indicating the Capitol reduced its security on purpose. When Katniss greets Peeta, he unexpectedly attacks and strangles her into unconsciousness before being knocked out by Boggs.


Katniss wakes up and is informed that Peeta has been "hijacked"—brainwashed into trying to kill her, which explains why the Capitol allowed them to escape with him. Peeta is placed in solitary confinement, while a serum is developed to reverse the hijacking effects.

Coin announces that the rebels' next objective is the Capitol's principal military stronghold in District 2—now the only district remaining loyal to the Capitol.

Mune: Guardian Of The Moon (2014) BluRay



When an evil magma demon and his minions steals the sun of a magical world, the new guardians of both the sun and the moon must embark on a quest to retrieve it and save their world from disaster as the moon faces destruction as well.

Mune, a young fawn, is chosen as the new Guardian of the Moon. Together with Glim, a girl made of wax, and Sohone, the new Guardian of the Sun, they must recover the sun from the evil Necross.


Mune: Guardian of the Moon (French: Mune, le gardien de la lune) is a 2014 French 3D computer-animated adventure fantasy film directed by Benoît Philippon and Alexandre Heboyan and written by Jérôme Fansten and Benoît Philippon. Set in an imaginary world, the movie tells the adventure of a small creature (who is the guardian of the Moon) who must recover the stolen Sun. The film was made with computer graphics and 3D stereoscopy, and it features the voices of Michael Gregorio, Omar Sy and Izïa Higelin. The film premiered at Forum des images on 6 December 2014 and was theatrically released in France on 14 October 2015.


SYNOPSIS MUNE GUARDIAN OF THE MOON

In an imaginary world, a small Sun and Moon were made by the first Guardians to warm up a small planet inhabited by different, but marvelous, people. The Guardians, generation after generation, preserve the harmony of the world. The people of the day and those of the night live in relative harmony, even though they are very different from each other. But, in the depth of the planet, Necross awaits the opportunity to set darkness over the world.


The day is approaching when the Sun's apprentice guardian, Sohone, and the Moon's apprentice guardian, Leeyoon, will take over from the present Guardians of the Sun and Moon (Xolal and Yule, respectively). On the day of their induction, the light of the Sun accepts Sohone as planned, but Leeyoon is vetoed by the lunar Ewe, who chooses a young Faun boy named Mune instead. On the following night, an upset Leeyoon is visited by pale snakes who stir up his jealousy and advise him to pit Sohone against Mune. Meanwhile, Mune has troubles maneuvering the temple of the Moon correctly: the temple leaves its path and interferes with Sohone. While Sohone leaves his temple to scold Mune, Necross sends his two imps to steal the Sun and bring it to him. Necross makes the Sun die off gradually. Night falls everywhere, and a distressed Mune is banished from his own people.


Mune and Sohone both set out on a quest to find the vanished Sun, accompanied by a young wax girl named Glim. Thanks to her knowledge of astronomy and the ancient stories of how the world came together, the group is able to pass the Great Blue Hole, a lake under which the great abyss opens that leads to the depths of the world. Mune watches over Glim since she could freeze and break in the cold water. While underwater, the group meets Phospho, one of the previous Guardians of the Moon. He wakes Glim up using his power and leads them to the entrance of the underworld, where Necross lives.


Meanwhile, Leeyoon takes Mune's place in the temple of the Moon, but he can't control it. The Moon wanes and crumbles into dust, causing the temple to go mad and start galloping everywhere. It ends up in the underworld where Mune, Sohone and Glim are. Mune, accompanied by Glim, takes care of the Moon while Sohone dives into the underworld to recover the Sun. Mune figures out that he can calm the temple of the Moon by using his magic glitter powers. Leeyoon admits to him that the Moon is lost, but Mune and Glim go into the moon quarry of the world of dreams to carve a new crescent. The new moon is launched into the sky.


With this task done, Mune and Glim rejoin Sohone in the world of darkness. During this time, Sohone is surrounded by a mass of pale snakes who make fun of him and try to make him go mad with hatred. Sohone is saved by Phospho's intervention, who sacrifices himself to calm and free Sohone, destroying the snake wall in the process. Sohone, Mune and Glim then confront Necross and his imps. Sohone goes against Necross, but doesn't manage to weaken him. Mune finally gets rid of one of the imps. Glim finds the Sun and blows on it to revive its fire, but that causes her to melt. A heartbroken Mune sobs over Glim's sacrifice, then uses his Dream powers to defeat Necross and realises that Necross was being influenced by a pale snake, which he then pulls out and destroys. Necross regains the Guardian of the Sun appearance he had before getting corrupted by greed, then turns to stone, passing into eternal sleep.


The defeat of Necross leads to peace for the world, and the two young Guardians are able to resume the normal trajectories of their temples. Mune also re-sculpts Glim, and the combined energy of the sun and moon at daybreak with Glim's held fragment of the moon revives her. Mune and Glim meet up and kiss, before going around the world on the temple of the Moon.

How to Train Your Dragon 2 (2014) BluRay



When Hiccup and Toothless discover an ice cave that is home to hundreds of new wild dragons and the mysterious Dragon Rider, the two friends find themselves at the center of a battle to protect the peace.


It's been five years since Hiccup and Toothless successfully united dragons and vikings on the island of Berk. While Astrid, Snotlout and the rest of the gang are challenging each other to dragon races (the island's new favorite contact sport), the now inseparable pair journey through the skies, charting unmapped territories and exploring new worlds. When one of their adventures leads to the discovery of a secret ice cave that is home to hundreds of new wild dragons and the mysterious Dragon Rider, the two friends find themselves at the center of a battle to protect the peace. Now, Hiccup and Toothless must unite to stand up for what they believe while recognizing that only together do they have the power to change the future of both men and dragons.


SYNOPSIS HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON 2

Five years after the Viking villagers of Berk and the dragons made peace, they live together in harmony. Hiccup and his dragon, Toothless the Night Fury, discover and map unexplored lands. Now 20 years old, he is being pressed by his father, Stoick the Vast, to succeed him as chieftain, although Hiccup feels unsure he is ready.


While investigating a burnt forest, Hiccup and Astrid discover the remains of a fort encased in ice and meet a group of dragon-trappers. Their leader Eret attempts to capture their dragons for their employer, Drago Bludvist, who plots to capture and enslave all dragons into becoming his soldiers. Hiccup and Astrid escape and warn Stoick about Drago. Stoick fortifies Berk to prepare for battle. Hiccup, however, refuses to believe war is inevitable, and flies off to talk to Drago. Stoick stops him, explaining that he once met Drago at a gathering of chieftains, where Drago had offered them protection from dragons if they pledged to serve him; when they laughed it off as a joke, he had his dragons attack them, with Stoick the sole survivor.


Undeterred, Hiccup flies off with Toothless in search of Drago to try to reason with him. They instead meet a mysterious dragon-rider, who is revealed to be Hiccup's long-lost mother Valka. She explains that she, like her son, could not bring herself to kill dragons. After being carried off during a dragon raid, she spent 20 years rescuing dragons from Drago and bringing them to an island nest created out of ice by a gigantic, ice-spewing alpha dragon called a "Bewilderbeast", which is able to control smaller dragons by emitting hypnotic sound waves. Stoick and his lieutenant Gobber track Hiccup to the nest, where Stoick discovers his wife is alive. Meanwhile, Astrid and the other riders force Eret to lead them to Drago, who captures them and their dragons and, learning of Berk's dragons, sends his armada to attack the dragon nest. He also attempts to have Eret executed, but Astrid's dragon, Stormfly, saves him. A grateful Eret later helps her and the others escape.


At the nest, a battle ensues between the dragon-riders, Valka's dragons, and Drago's armada, during which Drago reveals he has his own Bewilderbeast to challenge the alpha. The two colossal dragons fight, ending with Drago's Bewilderbeast killing its rival and becoming the new alpha. Drago's Bewilderbeast seizes control of all the adult dragons. Hiccup tries to persuade Drago to end the violence, but Drago orders his Bewilderbeast to have Toothless kill him instead. The hypnotized Toothless fires a plasma bolt towards Hiccup, but Stoick pushes him out of the way and is killed instead. The Bewilderbeast momentarily relinquishes control of Toothless, but Hiccup drives Toothless away in a fit of despair over his father's death. Drago maroons Hiccup and the others on the island and rides Toothless, again under the control of the Bewilderbeast, to lead his army to conquer Berk. Stoick is given a Viking funeral and Hiccup, now having lost both his father and dragon, is unsure what to do. Valka encouragingly tells him he alone can unite humans and dragons. Inspired by her words and his father's, Hiccup and his allies return to Berk to stop Drago by flying the baby dragons, which are immune to the Bewilderbeast's control.


Back at Berk, they find that Drago has attacked the village and taken control of its dragons. With an apology, Hiccup frees Toothless from the Bewilderbeast's control, much to Drago's surprise. Hiccup and Toothless confront Drago, but the Bewilderbeast encases them in ice. However, Toothless blasts away the ice and enters a glowing super-powered state. Toothless then challenges the Bewilderbeast, shooting it in the face repeatedly, which breaks its control over the other dragons, who side with Toothless as the new alpha. All the dragons repeatedly fire at the Bewilderbeast until Toothless fires a final massive blast, breaking its left tusk. Defeated, the Bewilderbeast retreats with Drago on his back.

The Vikings and dragons celebrate their victory and Hiccup is made chieftain of Berk, while all the dragons from both Berk and Valka's sanctuary bow before Toothless as their new king. Afterwards, Berk undergoes repairs, with Hiccup feeling secure that its dragons can defend it.

Nightcrawler (2014) BluRay



When Louis Bloom, a con man desperate for work, muscles into the world of L.A. crime journalism, he blurs the line between observer and participant to become the star of his own story.


Nightcrawler is a 2014 American neo-noir psychological thriller film written and directed by Dan Gilroy in his directorial debut. It stars Jake Gyllenhaal as Louis "Lou" Bloom, a stringer who records violent events late at night in Los Angeles and sells the footage to a local television news station. Rene Russo, Riz Ahmed, and Bill Paxton also star. A common theme in the film is the symbiotic relationship between unethical journalism and consumer demand.


SYNOPSIS NIGHTCRAWLER

Petty thief Louis "Lou" Bloom is caught stealing from a Los Angeles construction site by a security guard. He attacks the guard, steals his watch and leaves with stolen material. After selling the material at a scrap yard, Lou asks for a job, but the foreman says he does not hire thieves. While driving home, Lou sees a car crash and pulls over. Stringers—freelance photojournalists—arrive and record two police officers pulling a woman from the burning wreck. One of the stringers, Joe Loder, tells Lou that they sell their footage to local news stations.




Inspired, Lou steals a bicycle and pawns it for a camcorder and a police radio scanner. After two unsuccessful attempts at recording incidents, Lou records the aftermath of a fatal carjacking and sells the footage to KWLA 6. The morning news director, Nina Romina, tells him the station is especially interested in footage of "graphic" accidents and violent crime in affluent, white areas. Lou hires an assistant, Rick, a young homeless man desperate for money. To give his footage more impact, Lou tampers with crime scenes, in one case moving a body to get a better camera angle. As Lou's work gains traction, he buys better equipment and a faster car.


Lou pressures Nina into a date, telling her he knows she is desperate for higher ratings. On their date he threatens to terminate his business with Nina unless she has sex with him, and it is implied that she acquiesces. Lou turns down an offer to work for Joe, but when Joe beats him to an important plane crash story, Nina demands that Lou get better footage and keep his end of their bargain. In retaliation, Lou sabotages Joe's van; when it crashes, Joe is severely injured and Lou records the aftermath.


Later, Lou and Rick arrive before the police at the site of a triple-homicide home invasion in Granada Hills. Lou records footage of the gunmen leaving in their SUV and of the victims in the house and later presents footage to the station with the perpetrators edited out. The news staff fret over the ethics of the footage but Nina is eager to break the story. In exchange, Lou demands public credit and more money. Police detective Frontieri shows up at Lou's apartment to question him about his connection to the home invasion. He gives her edited footage of the incident, cutting out the parts with the gunmen. That night, Lou and Rick track down the driver to his house, staking out the house until his partner arrives. Lou wants to follow them to a more crowded public area, then call the police and record the ensuing confrontation. Alarmed, Rick demands half the money Lou stands to make, threatening to tell the police about Lou's withholding of evidence; Lou agrees.




When the gunmen stop at a restaurant, Lou phones the police, warning them that the suspects are armed. They arrive and exchange gunfire. A police officer is shot and one of the killers is gunned down while the other manages to escape in the SUV. The police give chase with Lou and Rick tailing and recording, culminating in a long multiple-car collision. After the gunman's SUV crashes, Lou approaches the vehicle, claiming that the gunman is dead and urging Rick to film him. The gunman is revealed to be alive as he shoots Rick, flees, and is killed by arriving police officers. As Rick lies dying, Lou films him and tells him that he cannot work with someone who has leverage over him.


Nina is awed by the chase footage and expresses her devotion to Lou. The news team discovers that the home invasion was actually the criminals breaking in to steal cocaine that the homeowners were stashing; Nina refuses to report this information to maximize the story's impact. Police try to confiscate the footage as evidence but Nina defends her right to withhold it and airs it immediately. Lou voluntarily speaks with Detective Frontieri. While being interrogated by Frontieri, Lou fabricates a story about the men in the SUV following him; Frontieri knows he is lying, but cannot prove it. Later, Lou hires a team of interns to expand his business, telling them he wouldn't have them do anything he wouldn't do himself.

When a US soccer team gets stranded on a deserted island after a plane crash they must face difficult choices to survive. Modern day Lord of the Flies.


SYNOPSIS EDEN

The story is about a partially filled United States men's national soccer team plane, returning to the US from Brazil after a FIFA World Cup match, that crashes off an uninhabited Malaysian tropical island. After the crash, the coach and his wife, along with several players and the entire crew, are dead. The 15 survivors that reach the island find themselves in the most dire of circumstances with limited resources, dwindling food supply and no rescue coming any time soon. On day one, when they recover some food from the offshore wreck, team bench warmer Kennefick panics at the sight of a shark and lets the food float away.


Team spirit evaporates as disagreements cause the group to separate into factions – a violent one led by assistant team captain Andreas, and a compassionate one led by team captain Slim. On the seventh day, Connie commits suicide, reducing the group to 14. Later that day, Georgie – brother of Andreas – steps on a land mine and dies that night, reducing the group to 13. On the eighth day, Patton and McKenna leave in the only rubber raft, rather than let Slim cut it up as a water collector, reducing the island to 11.


Elena starts having sexual relations with Andreas, while her sister, Eva, starts having sexual relations with Felix. On the ninth day, when they discover that Kennefick has stolen a third of the limited rations for himself, Andreas attempts to cut his throat, but is stopped by Slim and Felix, though Felix is accidentally stabbed and dies, reducing the island to ten.


In the early hours of day 14, Doug kills Markese, then Slim kills Arnie, leaving eight survivors. As the sun comes up, rescue helicopters arrive, having found Patton and McKenna on the raft that Slim wanted to destroy. Andreas hides rather than return with Slim and the other five, and those six sentence Andreas to death by lying and saying that no one else is on the island.

Into the Woods is a 2014 American musical fantasy film directed by Rob Marshall, and adapted to the screen by James Lapine from his and Stephen Sondheim's 1986 Broadway musical of the same name. Produced by Walt Disney Pictures, it features an ensemble cast that includes Meryl Streep, Emily Blunt, James Corden, Anna Kendrick, Chris Pine, Tracey Ullman, Christine Baranski, Lilla Crawford, Daniel Huttlestone, MacKenzie Mauzy, Billy Magnussen, and Johnny Depp. Inspired by the Grimm Brothers' fairy tales of "Little Red Riding Hood", "Cinderella", "Jack and the Beanstalk", and "Rapunzel", the film is centered on a childless couple who set out to end a curse placed on them by a vengeful witch. Ultimately, the characters are forced to experience the unintended consequences of their actions.




SYNOPSIS INTO THE WOODS

A Baker and his wife wish for a child but suffer under a curse laid upon the Baker's family by a Witch. The witch had previously found the baker's father robbing her garden when the baker's mother was pregnant, demanding their daughter in return. Because the Baker's father also stole some magic beans, the Witch's own mother also punished her with the curse of ugliness. The Witch is able to lift the curse and allow them to have a child, but only if the Baker and his wife obtain four critical items for her to make a potion: a cow as white as milk, a cape as red as blood, a hair as yellow as corn, and a slipper as pure as gold, none of which she is allowed to touch.


The Witch's demands eventually bring the Baker and his wife into contact with Jack, who is selling his beloved house cow, Milky-White, and to whom the Baker offers magic beans left to him by his father (which were stolen from the Witch) which Jack accidentally grows into a large beanstalk; with Red Riding Hood, whose red cape the couple noticed when she stopped by the bakery earlier to buy bread and sweets on her way to her grandmother's house; with blonde-haired Rapunzel (the Witch's adopted daughter/the Baker's biological sister), whose tower the Baker's wife passes in the woods; and with Cinderella, who also runs into the Baker's wife while fleeing from the pursuing Prince and whose ball outfit includes gold slippers.




After a series of failed attempts and misadventures, the Baker and his wife are finally able to gather the items necessary to break the spell. After the potion is completed, each of the characters receives a "happy ending": Cinderella marries the Prince; Rapunzel is freed from the Witch by Cinderella's Prince's brother, whom she marries; Jack provides for his mother by stealing riches from the Giant in the sky, courtesy of the beanstalk, and kills the pursuing Giant by cutting down the beanstalk; Little Red Riding Hood and her grandmother are saved from the Big Bad Wolf; and the Witch regains her youth and beauty after drinking the potion.


However, each of the characters learn that their endings don't remain happy: the Baker is worried that he is a poor father to his newborn baby; the Baker's wife is temporarily seduced by the Prince; Cinderella is disenchanted by her cheating Prince; and the witch learns that she has lost her magic powers in exchange for her youth and beauty, after being rejected by Rapunzel, who then runs off with her Prince. The growth of a second beanstalk from the last remaining magic bean allows the Giant's widow to climb down and threaten the kingdom and its inhabitants if they do not deliver Jack in retribution for killing her husband.


The characters attempt to find Jack, but debate the morality of handing Jack over. In the process, Red Riding Hood's mother and grandmother, Jack's mother and the Baker's wife are killed. The Baker, Cinderella, Jack and Little Red Riding Hood all blame each other for their individual actions that led to the tragedy, ultimately blaming the Witch for growing the beans in the first place. She curses them for their inability to accept responsibility for their individual actions, as well as their refusal to do the "right thing" (handing Jack over). Casting all the remaining beans away, the Witch begs her mother to punish her again, and she abandons the group by melting into a large pit of boiling tar.


The remaining characters resolve to kill the threatening Giant's widow, though they discuss the complicated morality of retribution and revenge in the process. They lure the Giant's widow into stepping in the tar pit where she ultimately trips and falls to her death. With the Giant's widow dead, the characters move forward with their lives as they are. The Baker, thinking of his wife, is determined to be a good father. Cinderella decides to leave the Prince and help the Baker with Jack and Red Riding Hood, as they are now orphans, and will be moving into the bakery. The Baker comforts his son after he begins to cry by telling the story of the film as the movie ends with the Witch's moral, which means children can change due to the parent's actions and behaviors.

Ouija (2014) BluRay



A group of friends must confront their most terrifying fears when they awaken the dark powers of an ancient spirit board.

Ouija is a 2014 American supernatural horror film directed by Stiles White in his directorial debut, produced by Jason Blum, Michael Bay, Andrew Form, Bradley Fuller, and Bennett Schneir and written by Juliet Snowden and White, who previously together wrote The Possession. It stars Olivia Cooke, Daren Kagasoff, Douglas Smith, and Bianca A. Santos as teenagers who have unleashed spirits from a Ouija board.


SYNOPSIS OUIJA

Debbie Galardi recalls playing Ouija with her best friend Laine Morris as children. In the present day, Debbie throws her Ouija board into the fire, burning it. Debbie implies to Laine that something strange happened with the Ouija board. After Laine leaves, the Ouija board reappears in Debbie's bedroom. Debbie becomes possessed and hangs herself with Christmas lights inside her home.




Laine attends Debbie's wake with her boyfriend Trevor, younger sister Sarah, friend Isabelle, and Debbie's boyfriend Pete. The five friends meet at Debbie's house and use her Ouija board to try communicating with her. Strange things happen, and a presence smashes Pete's hand and face into a mirror. Later, the friends start finding the phrase "hi friend" (a message communicated during the Ouija board session) written in different places, like Isabelle's car window, a tunnel wall, Pete's desk, and Laine's computer.


Thinking Deb is trying to communicate with them, the group has another Ouija session. They then discover that they are actually in contact not with Debbie but with a spirit calling itself "DZ". Laine sees the image of a little girl with her mouth sewn shut. The girl warns them to run because her mother is coming. Laine sees an old woman, and everyone flees. Laine later learns that Deb found the Ouija board in her attic and played alone.


Isabelle is possessed and killed by being smashed into her bathroom sink and cracking her skull open. Laine and Pete search Deb's attic and find a box of old photographs that belonged to the previous residents. While researching the previous family's history, they learn of a little girl named Doris Zander who went missing, and whose mother was suspected in her disappearance. Laine visits Doris' sister, an old woman named Paulina, who is now committed to a psychiatric hospital. Paulina explains that her mother was a medium and used Doris as a vessel for the dead to speak through.




Their mother went mad and sewed Doris' mouth shut before killing her. She tells Laine that there is a secret room in the house where Laine must find Doris' hidden body and unstitch her mouth in order for the girl to banish their mother. The remaining friends go back to the Galardi house, where Laine finds Doris' corpse and cuts the stitches on her mouth. Doris' mother's spirit protests, but Doris' spirit appears and chases away the ghost of her mother. Pete becomes possessed and is killed in his home, appearing as a soulless ghost with his mouth stitched up.


Laine revisits Paulina and reveals that the old woman, realizing that she was in allegiance with Doris, intentionally lied. Doris was the evil entity all along and her mother was trying to stop the friends from summoning her. The Morris's grandmother, Nona, advises the sisters to destroy Doris' body and the Ouija board at the same time. Doris' ghost throws Trevor into a swimming pool covered with a plastic canopy, trapping and drowning him. Laine and Sarah return to the Galardi house cellar, where Doris captures Sarah and prepares to sew her mouth shut.


Laine plays the Ouija board alone to draw the spirit's attention. Doris starts possessing Laine, but Debbie's ghost appears to help Laine defeat Doris. Sarah throws Doris' body into the furnace, and Laine throws the Ouija board, stopping the paranormal activity. Later, Laine finds that the planchette has mysteriously appeared back at her home in her bedroom. She holds it up to her eye to look inside and the screen then cuts to black.
