SINOPSIS

Pilot Gyu-Sik and copilot Tae-in of the Sokcho Airport passenger plane fly to Gimpo, Seoul, during the winter of 1971. Following the flight attendants' takeoff instructions, an improvised explosive device goes off, frightening and perplexing everyone on board. Gyu-Sik loses one eye due to the explosion, and Tae-In finds himself in a precarious situation in an increasingly chaotic setting.

The mastermind behind the hijacking scheme, Yong-dae, seizes control of the cockpit and makes threats to fly the aircraft to North Korea. What comes next is an incredible story of bravery and selflessness, along with an in-depth analysis of the hijacker and crew.

This has the drawback of being based on a true story.

Thus, everything about the characters' pasts—pain, anxiety, regret, and choices—was so real and painful.

Not only was Yondae a hijacker, but he was also abused as a child by insane people who called anyone a communist.

Was Taein's decision to let them cross the border, which he experienced during the previous hijacking, the right one? Or would he make a different decision?

My heart broke for him and, as a fan, I could relate to his past, but his actions, of course, didn't make it any easier, so that's the whole emotional conflict, everything was just so terrible, and the acting honestly, they couldn't have picked better performers.

Like a chain reaction, "what if"

Taein's decision to allow the first plane to pass, which left 11 individuals missing to this day, can only indicate that they were either killed, imprisoned, or, worse, given the communist label.

Thus, he made the decision this time to ensure that everyone is secure and that, in the event that he passed away, at least they would know and not have to live in fear.

He practically flung himself on a bomb to save people, which is a terrible decision.

Coz in Yondae's life, his mother passed away, his brother abandoned him, the children in his community were subjected to boiling water, and he was falsely accused. Doesn't it make sense that he ended up so dysfunctional when "normal" people were so quick to label others? Who has the blame?

And beyond that initial hijack, we'll never be able to find out the whole story—did they actually offer the first hijacker money, or did they decide to stay behind because they were fed up with their government?

Did they demand payment in exchange for freeing the hostages? Did they employ technologies from the plane? Did SK decline to reimburse the government employees for the money they failed to return?

However, all of those things motivated Taein to keep their identities secret, protect them, and restore their bodies, or to return them safe.

Who is to blame, if he was a hero and Yondae was a victim? Those were very dreadful days for Korea, but at least things did change.

This terrible deed, I suppose, also discouraged others from trying.

SINOPSIS

Kim Woo-Bin's character Lee Jung-Do delivers food for his father's chicken restaurant. He appears to be a typical man who enjoys talking with friends over drinks and playing video games with buddies at internet cafes. He is a master of the martial arts, though. He holds the top rank in judo, kendo, and taekwondo. He helps others without hesitation when he sees them in need.

One day, Lee Jung-Do just so happens to witness a probationer wearing an ankle monitor attacking a martial arts officer, and he intervenes to save the officer. Lee Jung-Do starts to cover for the injured cop for five weeks after saving the officer. Kim Sun-Min, a probation officer (Kim Sung-Kyun), is his companion. Lee Jung-Do's role as a martial arts officer is to assist in physically hazardous circumstances. Kim Sun-Min oversees probationary violent offenders. Kim Sun-Min observes Lee Jung-Do's fighting prowess when they are working together and suggests that he become a full-time martial arts cop.

SINOPSIS

After being promoted to the Metropolitan Investigation Unit, Detective Ma Seok-do and his squad look into the death of Go Sun-hee, a lady who was using the narcotic "Hiper," according to the postmortem report. When Ma Seok-do visits the nightclub and questions the president, they discover that Hiroshi, a member of the yakuza, is distributing Hiper from Incheon within the establishment. Colleagues of Ma Seok-do are able to apprehend Hiro and confiscate twenty kilogrammes of Hiper; however, Hiper is taken by a dishonest police officer Joo Sung-chul, who also murders Hiroshi. Despite this, Ma Seok-do's group escapes the ambush.

In reality, Joo Sung-chul is guarding the White Shark Clan syndicate, who had taken Hiper in order to benefit. After learning that Hiper has been taken by the White Shark, the yakuza recruits Ricky, a hitman, to retrieve Hiper. When Ma Seok-do finds out about another drug dealer named Tomo, he tries to apprehend him. However, Ricky kills Tomo and makes off, starting a drug war with Joo Sung-chul. Ma Seok-do follows a clue to the boat yacht, where they discover Hiper, and with the assistance of a friend Chorong, strikes a bargain with Joo Sung-chul.

Joo Sung-chul, though, modifies his strategy and strikes a bargain with Ricky. Joo Sung-chul takes the Hiper while Ricky captures and takes Ma Seok-do away. Ma Seok-do is questioned by Ricky; nevertheless, she subsequently rebels and beats Ricky. Tracking down Joo Sung-chul at his office, Ma Seok-do uses a tracker that was hidden inside the bag. As Joo Sung-chul and the yakuza organisation are taken into custody by the police, Ma Seok-do and his group celebrate their successful case. Following this, Ma Seok-do locates Jang I-soo and enlists his assistance in looking into a different case, which sets up the events of the sequel.

SINOPSIS

Former Korean Special Forces commander Baek Chang-gi, who is currently in charge of an online gambling company in the Philippines, murders his employee Jo Sung-jae when he is trying to flee. Baek is promised an increase in his share by the casino administrator, Chang Dong-cheol, in exchange for closing down a competitor casino and assuming its membership. Chang breaks his word, but Baek organises a bloody raid on the rival's server and steals the members' data. Feeling underappreciated, Baek decides to face Chang by flying back to South Korea.

Detective Ma Seok-do finds out about Jo's horrific demise while looking into a potential case of Jo laundering money online. After Jo's body is returned to South Korea, Ma reads the autopsy report and believes there may be more to this case than meets the eye. Ma is resolved to find the guilty parties after Jo's distraught mother kills herself and begs Ma to bring justice to her son. Ma joins the agency's Cyber Investigation Unit, and together they investigate a money laundering operation, where they find manager Choi Yu-seong by following Jo's work history and cloud backup data. Ma approaches Jang Yi-soo for assistance after learning that he and the Cyber Investigation team are dealing with an internet gambling ring.

SYNOPSIS KINGDOM ASHIN OF THE NORTH

As the southern part of Joseon recovers from a Japanese invasion, the northern border of Joseon has become more vulnerable. Jurchens have gathered in nearby Pajeowi, arousing the suspicions of the Joseon government. 15 dead Jurchen bodies are discovered in a mountain in Joseon. The Jurchens were hunting for wild ginseng. Fearing a possible invasion by the Pajeowi Jurchens due to the deaths of their people, Min Chi-Rok (Park Byung-Eun) implements a plan to ward off an invasion.


He travels to the boundary village, located in the most northern part of Joseon, where ethnic Jurchens have lived in Joseon. These people are shunned by both countries. Min Chi-Rok orders village leader Ta-Hap (Kim Roe-Ha) to travel to Pajeowi and spread rumors that a tiger killed the 15 Jurchens.


Meanwhile, Ta-Hap's daughter Ashin (later played by Gianna Jun) sneaks off into the mountains to hunt for a plant that promises to bring back even the dead. Her mother is deathly ill.

Tunnel (2016) BluRay



A man is on his way home when the poorly constructed tunnel he is driving through collapses, leaving him trapped.

Tunnel (also referred as The Tunnel; Korean: 터널 Teoneol) is a 2016 South Korean survival drama film written and directed by Kim Seong-hun, starring Ha Jung-woo in the lead role.[3][4] The film revolves around a car salesman who gets trapped when a poorly constructed tunnel collapses, and deals with his survival inside the tunnel with the advice of the rescue team head. It was released in South Korea on 10 August 2016.


SYNOPSIS TUNNEL

Lee Jung-soo (Ha Jung-woo) is driving home for his daughter's birthday. While driving through a tunnel through a mountain, the tunnel collapses. When Lee Jung-Soo regains consciousness, he finds himself trapped inside his car, which is buried under tons of concrete and debris. All he has inside the car are his cellphone, two bottles of water, and his daughter's birthday cake.


South Korea is horrified by the news of the collapse of a large tunnel. The government urgently sets up an accident task force. Daekyung (Oh Dal-su), the rescue captain of the accident task force, makes various attempts to enter the tunnel, but the structure is only slow. Meanwhile, Jeong-su's wife Se-hyun (Bae Doo-na) delivers hope to her husband through the radio, which Jung-su can only hear, and does not give up hope for his safe life. The sluggish rescue operation will eventually cause a major setback in the completion of the second tunnel nearby, and public opinion begins to divide over the survival and structure of the essence.

He is known to have good business skills and good relationships. He is more of a generous personality. He distributes water that is not enough to eat alone to other survivors, and shares little food with dog.[10]

Jeong-su's wife. Younger than her husband. If Jeong-su represents the disaster victims, Se-hyun represents the victims' relatives, bereaved families, and secondary victims. After the accident, she volunteers at the scene and talks with the rescue team leader to maintain the hope of Jeong-su, but the rescue operation is delayed than expected and she is baptized with raw eggs by the mother of the work leader who died in the accident.

  • Oh Dal-su as Dae-kyung
119 Rescue Team Leader. He was a rather serious figure as the "expert" of the original, but Oh Dal-soo's role in the movie added to his comic. He is the most conscientious and professional person in the work as a veteran rescue leader. Except for Jeong-su's family, this person and the work leader are the only ones who really believed in Jeong-su's survival and tried to rescue him until the end. He did not provide any direct help to Jeong-su, but he also gave him the advice he needed to survive in the early stages.
