SINOPSIS
Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty is a 2023 Telugu-language romantic comedy that follows a successful, commitment-averse chef who seeks a sperm donor to have a baby. The film was directed by Mahesh Babu Pachigolla and stars Anushka Shetty and Naveen Polishetty.
Anvitha Ravali Shetty (Anushka Shetty) is a master chef living in London who has become disillusioned with relationships after seeing her parents' failed marriage. Following the death of her mother, she returns to India and decides to have a baby via artificial insemination, wanting a child without a husband.
She chooses stand-up comedian Sidhu Polishetty (Naveen Polishetty) to be the father, based on his personality and values. However, Anvitha hides her true intentions from Sidhu, who is a traditional romantic looking for a committed relationship. The film's plot centers on their evolving dynamic as Sidhu falls in love with Anvitha, while she tries to keep him at a distance.
